U.S. Forces Japan and the U.S. Fifth Air Force hold a change of command ceremony at Yokota Air Base in Tokyo on October 8, 2024. The new commander of U.S. forces in Japan, Lt. Gen. Stephen Jost, pledged to work to further strengthen the bilateral alliance.
